(CPI), a prominent training company, has launched a new initiative aimed at addressing men&#8217;s mental health in Guyana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program, aptly titled &#8220;Men&#8217;s Mental Health,&#8221; seeks to dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health issues among men and provide them with the tools needed to navigate mental health challenges effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CPI&#8217;s Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, Carlyne Stewart, emphasized the importance of creating a safe environment where men can openly discuss mental health issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Fab-iana-Mens-Mental-Health-1.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative aims to foster genuine conversations and raise awareness about the mental health struggles men face in various aspects of their lives, including the workplace and home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Training Director Adrian Clarke highlighted the significant influence of culture on the perception of mental health among men. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Fab-iana-Mens-Mental-Health-2.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted that cultural norms have historically shaped the behaviors and attitudes of men in the country, often leading to a reluctance to seek help for mental health issues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clarke stressed the importance of redefining male leadership and encouraging men to embrace mental well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;Men&#8217;s Mental Health&#8221; program is designed to provide a supportive platform where men can engage in meaningful discussions about mental health without the fear of judgment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative is part of CPI&#8217;s broader effort to promote mental health awareness and support within the Guyanese community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Individuals interested in participating in the program can contact Clarke&#8217;s Productions Inc. at 659 9596 for more information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Fabiana Mcklmon Clarke&#8217;s Productions Inc.
