{"id":19530,"date":"2024-05-08T17:26:02","date_gmt":"2024-05-08T17:26:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=19530"},"modified":"2024-05-08T17:27:01","modified_gmt":"2024-05-08T17:27:01","slug":"linden-students-relieved-after-completing-ngsa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/linden-students-relieved-after-completing-ngsa\/","title":{"rendered":"Linden Students Relieved After Completing NGSA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Following the completion of the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA), students across Linden expressed feelings of relief and happiness as they look forward to their secondary school placements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Celebrations erupted among grade six pupils in Linden as they finished their exams, with cheers and confetti marking the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students shared their emotions, expressing happiness, relief, and confidence in their performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some felt amazing, others felt glad, and many believed they did well on the exam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the sense of relief, there was also a tinge of anxiety as students eagerly await their results, hoping to secure placements in prestigious secondary schools like Queen&#8217;s College and President&#8217;s College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister of Education Priya Manickchand assured that the results will be announced in July, allowing students to enjoy their break while awaiting the outcomes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NGSA, managed by CXC, aims to provide fair and transparent assessments that bear the mark of integrity associated with the examining body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Region 10, a total of 919 students were registered to sit for this year&#8217;s NGSA, reflecting the significance of the exam for students across the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As students await their results, they remain hopeful for favorable outcomes that will pave the way for their educational journey beyond primary school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following the completion of the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA), students across Linden expressed feelings of relief and happiness as they look forward to their secondary school placements.
