{"id":18986,"date":"2024-04-22T21:05:24","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T21:05:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=18986"},"modified":"2024-04-22T21:05:25","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T21:05:25","slug":"chase-academy-presidents-college-waramuri-primary-and-dolphin-secondary-secure-semi-final-spots-in-milo-school-football-tournament","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/chase-academy-presidents-college-waramuri-primary-and-dolphin-secondary-secure-semi-final-spots-in-milo-school-football-tournament\/","title":{"rendered":"Chase Academy, President&#8217;s College, Waramuri Primary, and Dolphin Secondary Secure Semi-Final Spots in Milo School Football Tournament"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>By Eric Collymore<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an action-packed day at the Ministry of Education ground on Sunday, the semi-finalists for the Milo School Football Tournament were determined. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chase Academy, President&#8217;s College, Waramuri Primary, and Dolphin Secondary emerged victorious, booking their places in the next stage of the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the opening match, Chase Academy showcased their dominance with a commanding 5-0 win over Bartica Secondary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neea Baksh and Omar Sam found the back of the net early in the 20th and 21st minutes, giving Chase Academy a comfortable lead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bryan Glasgow extended their advantage with a goal in the 40th minute, securing a three-goal lead at halftime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark Glasgow and Isaiah Ifill added two more goals in the 69th and 70th minutes, sealing the victory for Chase Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Waramuri Primary Top secured their semi-final berth with a convincing 3-0 win over Ann&#8217;s Grove Secondary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rondell Peters, Chetram Thomas, and Odell Holmes were the goal scorers for Waramuri, netting goals in the 27th, 34th, and 62nd minutes respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In another exciting matchup, President&#8217;s College defeated East Ruimveldt 3-1, thanks to goals from Lyshown Morriah, Shamar Barrington, and Daniel Alexander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final spot in the semi-finals was clinched by Dolphin Secondary, who narrowly defeated West Ruimveldt with a solitary goal from Ezekiel David.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Semi-final action is set to commence on Thursday at the Ministry of Education ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chase Academy will face President&#8217;s College in the first match at 16:30, while Waramuri Primary Top will take on Dolphin Secondary in the second match at 18:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the stage set for intense competition, football enthusiasts can expect thrilling matches as the teams battle it out for a spot in the final.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Eric Collymore In an action-packed day at the Ministry of Education ground on Sunday, the semi-finalists for the Milo School Football Tournament were determined.
