{"id":18956,"date":"2024-04-22T18:16:50","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T18:16:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=18956"},"modified":"2024-04-22T18:17:41","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T18:17:41","slug":"tragic-accident-claims-two-lives-leaves-one-in-critical-condition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/tragic-accident-claims-two-lives-leaves-one-in-critical-condition\/","title":{"rendered":"Tragic Accident Claims Two Lives, Leaves One in Critical Condition"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>By Royan Abrams<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A somber atmosphere envelops the community of Williamsburg as news of a fatal accident on the Williamsburg Public Road spreads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Late last evening, tragedy struck as two motorcycle riders lost their lives, while another remains in critical condition following a devastating accident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deceased have been identified as 21-year-old Vekash Tulsi of Letter Kenny Village and 22-year-old Rondy Emanuel of Williamsburg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seventeen-year-old Veeram Seecharran, also of Williamsburg, who was a pillion rider, suffered a fractured skull and is currently hospitalized in critical condition at the New Amsterdam Regional Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, the accident occurred around 8:30 PM when Tulsi and Emanuel, both riding motorcycles, were involved in a collision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preliminary investigations suggest that both riders were allegedly speeding when Emanuel lost control of his bike, resulting in the tragic collision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking to the media, Rudolph Emanuel, the father of one of the deceased, expressed shock and sorrow over the incident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He recounted the moments leading up to the accident, highlighting the suddenness and severity of the collision that claimed the lives of both riders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the accident, emergency services rushed to the scene, and the victims were transported to the Port Mourant Public Hospital. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tragically, Tulsi was pronounced dead on arrival, while Emanuel succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the community mourns the loss of two young lives and prays for the recovery of Veeram Seecharran, investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This heartbreaking incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of road safety and responsible driving practices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It underscores the need for heightened awareness and vigilance on the roads to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Royan Abrams A somber atmosphere envelops the community of Williamsburg as news of a fatal accident on the Williamsburg Public Road spreads.
