In Season Six of the KFC Elite League, the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) showcased their dominance with a commanding 11-0 win against Monedderlust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The match saw GDF’s relentless attack from the start, with Dorrel George opening the scoring in the 10th minute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strikes from Abumchi Benjamin, Chris Macey, and Stephen McDonald further bolstered GDF’s lead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benjamin particularly stood out with a hat-trick, scoring two goals in the first half and another in the second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entering the second half with a 5-0 advantage, Cedric Osbourne extended GDF’s lead to six goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

McDonald and Macey added to their tally with doubles, while McDonald completed his hat-trick in the 82nd minute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sherwyn Ceasar sealed the deal with GDF’s 11th goal in injury time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This victory marks GDF’s fifth consecutive win in the league, propelling them up two places on the standings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite Police leading the leaderboard with six wins in seven matches, GDF’s performance has positioned them as strong contenders in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Ann’s Grove secured a 2-0 victory over Buxton United FC, elevating them to seventh position in the standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The league action continues with a double-header on Saturday, featuring Buxton United against Slingerz and GDF against Western Tigers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
