{"id":17757,"date":"2024-04-02T21:20:09","date_gmt":"2024-04-02T21:20:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=17757"},"modified":"2024-04-02T21:20:10","modified_gmt":"2024-04-02T21:20:10","slug":"bit-to-commence-2024-training-programmes-in-region-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/bit-to-commence-2024-training-programmes-in-region-10\/","title":{"rendered":"BIT to Commence 2024 Training Programmes in Region 10"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>By Shawnette Feidkou<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board of Industrial Training (BIT) is gearing up to launch its training programmes for 2024 in April, with a focus on Region 10. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As preparations are underway, a new list of training opportunities will be announced by the end of this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More Guyanese residing in Region 10 will have the opportunity to access various skills training through the BIT programme for 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tenisha Dennis, the BIT Technical Officer for Region 10, has been assigned to work with a new batch of trainees, bringing her expertise to guide individuals towards further development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With experience working with over 1000 trainees in various skills, Dennis is well-prepared to support more people in their pursuit of skills enhancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BIT training offers two categories of programmes, with applications welcome from interested individuals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the highly sought-after programmes is Heavy Duty Machine Operation, which continues to receive significant interest from applicants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the presence of a substantial waiting list, Dennis encourages interested parties to submit their applications, as opportunities may still be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new list of training programmes will be unveiled by the end of this month, with training sessions set to commence in April. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, BIT provides a travel stipend to successful applicants, facilitating their participation in the training programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative underscores BIT&#8217;s commitment to enhancing skills development and empowering individuals with the necessary training to thrive in various industries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Shawnette Feidkou The Board of Industrial Training (BIT) is gearing up to launch its training programmes for 2024 in April, with a focus on Region 10.
