In another thrilling encounter of the Women’s Super 50 Cup, the Guyana Harpy Eagles soared to victory against Trinidad and Tobago as Round 4 of the CG Insurance Super 50 Cup unfolded across the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Jamaica solidified their dominance with a commanding win, further securing their position at the top of the standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the match against Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana’s women took to the crease first, setting a competitive target of 156 for 8 from their allotted 50 overs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite early setbacks with openers Mandy Mangru and Realeanna Grimmond departing for 10 runs each, a resilient partnership between Shabika Gajnabi (33 runs) and Shermaine Campbelle (52 runs off 81 balls) steadied the innings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the Gajnabi-Campbelle partnership, the team encountered a slight slide, losing wickets at regular intervals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nonetheless, Ashmini Munisar’s contribution of 11 runs bolstered the total to 156 for 8. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trinidad and Tobago’s bowling attack, led by Karishma Ramharack (3 for 26) and Lee-Ann Kirby (2 for 24), showcased commendable performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response, Trinidad and Tobago’s innings faltered as they were bowled out for 95 runs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite efforts from Samara Ramnath (20 runs), Shunelle Sawh (18 runs), Selene O’Neil (16 runs), and Kirbyina Alexander (14 runs), the team fell short by 61 runs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guyana’s Ashmini Munisar shone with the ball, claiming an impressive 5 for 15, while Niya Latchman chipped in with 2 for 24, sealing Guyana’s third win in four matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Jamaica continued their dominant run with a convincing three-wicket victory over the Leeward Islands. Windwards set a target of 175 for 9 in a reduced 45-over clash, but Jamaica chased it down comfortably, reaching 176 for 7 in just 36.1 overs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chinelle Henry’s exceptional bowling performance, claiming a hat-trick of wickets to finish with figures of 6 for 31, played a pivotal role in Jamaica’s triumph. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rashada Williams (72 runs) and Natasha McLean (50 runs) led the charge with the bat for Jamaica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the other match on Monday, Barbados secured a five-wicket victory over the Leeward Islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
