{"id":16849,"date":"2024-02-26T03:51:27","date_gmt":"2024-02-26T03:51:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=16849"},"modified":"2024-02-26T03:51:28","modified_gmt":"2024-02-26T03:51:28","slug":"fatal-accident-claims-life-of-28-year-old-driver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/fatal-accident-claims-life-of-28-year-old-driver\/","title":{"rendered":"Fatal Accident Claims Life of 28-Year-Old Driver"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p><strong><em>By Royan Abrams<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Police in Region Six are currently investigating a tragic accident that resulted in the loss of a 28-year-old father of one, identified as Lakchan Premkumar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident occurred along the Kilcoy Chesney Public Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Premkumar, a resident of Lot 126 Grant 1805 Crabwood Creek, Corentyne Berbice, reportedly left his home around 4 am on Sunday morning to participate in bird racing activities in New Amsterdam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately, tragedy struck during his journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to reports, Premkumar&#8217;s vehicle, motorcar PAD 3731, was traveling west along the Kilcoy-Chesney Public Road at a high rate of speed when he lost control and collided with a concrete bridge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The impact of the collision ejected Premkumar from the vehicle, causing him to fall into a drain and sustain fatal injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon receiving news of the accident, Premkumar&#8217;s wife rushed to the scene, only to learn that her husband had already been pronounced dead at the Port Mourant Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Witnesses described the scene as gruesome, with Premkumar suffering significant injuries, including severe facial trauma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lakchan Premkumar leaves behind his mother, wife, and child to mourn his untimely passing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation into the accident is ongoing as authorities work to determine the exact cause of the tragic incident.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Royan Abrams The Police in Region Six are currently investigating a tragic accident that resulted in the loss of a 28-year-old father of one, identified as Lakchan Premkumar.
