{"id":16573,"date":"2024-02-13T19:18:10","date_gmt":"2024-02-13T19:18:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=16573"},"modified":"2024-02-13T19:18:11","modified_gmt":"2024-02-13T19:18:11","slug":"aiden-hotel-nears-completion-set-to-elevate-georgetowns-hospitality-scene","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/aiden-hotel-nears-completion-set-to-elevate-georgetowns-hospitality-scene\/","title":{"rendered":"Aiden Hotel Nears Completion, Set to Elevate Georgetown&#8217;s Hospitality Scene"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p><strong>By Fabiana Mcklmon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Aiden Hotel, located at the corners of Robb and Oronoque Street in Georgetown, is nearing completion, with approximately 91% of the construction already finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Aiden Hotel, a 100% local investment by Arimu Investments Incorporated, has made significant progress since its last update at the end of 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Geraldo Alphonso, Co-Director of Arimu Investments, the hotel is expected to be fully completed by mid-year, with a conservative estimate at the end of June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During a tour of the facility, Minister of Tourism, Industry, and Commerce, Oneidge Walrond, expressed her excitement about the project, highlighting its alignment with the government&#8217;s vision of positioning Guyana as a tourism hub in the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She emphasized the importance of offering high-standard accommodations to visitors, which the Aiden Hotel aims to deliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Peter Ramsaroop, Chief Executive Officer of the Guyana Office for Investment (GoInvest), commended the initiative of local investors in the tourism and hospitality sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted the attention to detail in the hotel&#8217;s construction, including fire safety measures, and praised the uniqueness of the establishment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Ramsaroop highlighted the significance of the Aiden Hotel as the first major hotel within Georgetown&#8217;s city limits built by the local private sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Aiden Hotel, with an estimated cost of $20 million, will span nine floors of a modern 74,000-square-foot building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will feature over 100 executive rooms, an executive bar and lounge, conference rooms, private dining areas, a state-of-the-art gym, and restaurant facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once completed, the Aiden Hotel is poised to elevate Georgetown&#8217;s hospitality scene, offering both locals and visitors a high-quality accommodation option in the heart of the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Fabiana Mcklmon The Aiden Hotel, located at the corners of Robb and Oronoque Street in Georgetown, is nearing completion, with approximately 91% of the construction already finished.
