{"id":14995,"date":"2024-01-04T14:29:38","date_gmt":"2024-01-04T14:29:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=14995"},"modified":"2024-01-04T14:29:39","modified_gmt":"2024-01-04T14:29:39","slug":"progress-underway-for-diamond-regional-hospital-set-for-december-2024-completion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/progress-underway-for-diamond-regional-hospital-set-for-december-2024-completion\/","title":{"rendered":"Progress Underway for Diamond Regional Hospital Set for December 2024 Completion"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>The completed construction of the new Diamond Regional Hospital is scheduled for in December 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the last visit to the present date, the construction of the Diamond Regional Hospital has advanced from the foundation stage to the installation of steel frames. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hospital, one of six regional facilities planned across Guyana, is designed to accommodate 75 beds, three operating theaters with basic surgical capacity, and digitalized systems, including a full radiology diagnostic suite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Leslie Ramsammy, Advisor to the Health Minister, explained that the introduction of digital services will enhance service delivery, preventing the need for repeated procedures when patients receive referrals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Saskia-Diamond-Hospital-1.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The new hospital will function as a level 4 healthcare delivery facility, aligning it with the standards of the New Amsterdam and Linden Hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Saskia-Diamond-Hospital-2.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The ongoing efforts in the health sector aim to ensure equal access to quality healthcare services and raise the standard of healthcare provided nationwide.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The completed construction of the new Diamond Regional Hospital is scheduled for in December 2024.
