The Attorney General elaborated on this in an interview with NCN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the Court of Appeal&#8217;s decision, Nandlall emphasized that it definitively lays to rest any doubts surrounding the legality of the 2020 election recount. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He recalled the promises made by the APNU\/AFC, assuring their supporters that election petitions would lead to the removal of the then-government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, both petitions were dismissed within six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Samuel-AG.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nandlall noted that, faced with the failure of various strategies, the opposition resorted to formulating theories and allegations of irregularities.
