Country Manager, Alistair Routledge,<\/em> acknowledged the success in the oil discovery journey, which enabled the Greater Guyana Initiative to allocate a substantial fund to support impactful projects such as the UG Science &amp; Technology Building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Guyana recently celebrated its highest number of graduates in the engineering sector, marking a remarkable 72% increase over the last six years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This milestone reflects the institution&#8217;s commitment to providing quality education in crucial fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As UG embarks on this ambitious construction project, it not only signifies infrastructural development but also a dedication to nurturing a new generation of skilled professionals in science and technology.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Saskia Warrick, NCN News In a significant step towards academic advancement, the University of Guyana (UG) marked the commencement of construction for its new Science and Technology building.
