{"id":14400,"date":"2023-11-29T16:13:09","date_gmt":"2023-11-29T16:13:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=14400"},"modified":"2023-11-29T16:13:10","modified_gmt":"2023-11-29T16:13:10","slug":"guyana-to-partner-with-european-companies-for-healthcare-technologies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/guyana-to-partner-with-european-companies-for-healthcare-technologies\/","title":{"rendered":"Guyana to Partner with European Companies for Healthcare Technologies"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Guyana&#8217;s Health Minister, Dr. Frank Anthony, has announced plans to partner with European companies to acquire technical machinery and tools crucial for the healthcare sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move aims to enhance the country&#8217;s healthcare infrastructure and provide essential technologies for a world-class healthcare system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With 350 health posts, 22 district hospitals, and 10 regional hospitals in Guyana, Dr. Anthony emphasized the importance of not only building infrastructure but also acquiring necessary technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of this initiative, the government intends to purchase additional CT scans, x-ray systems, MRI machines, and other technologies from European companies that participated in the European Union Economic Mission to Guyana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Trichell-Health-EU.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, the government plans to establish a Bio-medical hub equipped with the technologies necessary for vaccine and medicine production. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hub, once constructed, will be open for use by international companies specializing in medicine.
