However, he reassured that measures have been put in place to rectify the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Approximately, there are 4,048 passports pending processing at the Central Immigration and Passport Office in Georgetown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, there are 900 in Berbice, 102 in Linden, 103 in Anna Regina, 45 in Parika, and five in Bartica.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Dr. Irfaan Ali has announced significant steps to address the backlog of passports in Guyana.
