{"id":13175,"date":"2023-10-09T16:21:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-09T16:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=13175"},"modified":"2023-10-09T16:21:02","modified_gmt":"2023-10-09T16:21:02","slug":"giving-hope-foundation-offers-free-cancer-screening-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/giving-hope-foundation-offers-free-cancer-screening-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Giving Hope Foundation Offers Free Cancer Screening Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>The Giving Hope Foundation is extending a helping hand to the community by providing free cancer screening services this month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Executive Member of the Foundation, Dave Lalltoo, announced a series of outreach events as part of their calendar of activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The outreach events aim to offer cancer screening services, sip and paint sessions for patients, as well as wellness and networking events designed to pamper patients and survivors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first outreach will be held in Bartica, followed by a second event in Berbice on October 15th, and a &#8220;Look Good Feel Better&#8221; event on October 19th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> During the &#8220;Look Good Feel Better&#8221; event, cancer patients and survivors will receive healthy baskets and makeup sessions, with support from professionals in the fashion industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lalltoo emphasized the critical importance of early detection in the fight against cancer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Giving Hope Foundation will also collaborate with GTT for the Pinktober walk on October 29, further promoting awareness and early intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These initiatives highlight the Foundation&#8217;s commitment to providing essential support and services to those affected by cancer, while emphasizing the life-saving impact of early detection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Giving Hope Foundation is extending a helping hand to the community by providing free cancer screening services this month.
