{"id":11936,"date":"2023-07-21T16:46:52","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T16:46:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=11936"},"modified":"2023-07-21T16:46:53","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T16:46:53","slug":"close-to-200-allottees-sign-agreements-of-sale-for-no-75-housing-development-in-region-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/close-to-200-allottees-sign-agreements-of-sale-for-no-75-housing-development-in-region-6\/","title":{"rendered":"Close to 200 Allottees Sign Agreements of Sale for No. 75 Housing Development in Region 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Residents of Berbice took a significant step towards legal ownership of their house lots in phase one of the Number 75 Village New Housing Scheme as they signed nearly 200 agreements of sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Housing and Water Minister, Collin Croal, and Chief Executive Officer of the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CHPA), Sherwyn Greaves, led the signing exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the completion of the agreements of sale, the allottees are now on track to obtain legal ownership of their respective lots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Central Housing and Planning Authority will process the certificates of titles to formalize their ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister Croal revealed that approximately $1.2 billion is currently being invested in the infrastructural development of the No. 75 scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, another $2 billion is being spent on ongoing infrastructural works in the No. 76 scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government&#8217;s commitment to spreading development across regions was evident, with attention given to the housing needs of Berbice residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Regional Housing Programme has a significant budget, with over $10 billion invested in various infrastructural projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To expedite the homeownership process, 100 houses were constructed at Hampshire and another 100 at Ordinance Fortlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since August 2020, more than 1,200 house lots have been allocated to residents in Region Six.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry, in collaboration with the CHPA, is actively seeking additional lands to address the growing demand for housing in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The signing of the agreements of sale represents a crucial milestone for the residents of Berbice as they move closer to realizing their dream of owning their own homes in the No. 75 Housing Development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Residents of Berbice took a significant step towards legal ownership of their house lots in phase one of the Number 75 Village New Housing Scheme as they signed nearly 200&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":11937,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[366,363,350,367,351],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-11936","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-local-development","category-national-transformation","category-news","category-one-guyana","category-politics"],"amp_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/11936","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/4"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=11936"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/11936\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":11938,"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/11936\/revisions\/11938"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/11937"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=11936"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=11936"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=11936"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
