He acknowledged that Guyana has already been sending health workers for specialized training in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President&#8217;s vision is to position Guyana as a significant destination for providing skilled human resources to address the skills shortage in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To achieve this, he intends to open discussions with development partners to accredit Guyana&#8217;s nursing institutions and other educational establishments according to Canadian standards.
