{"id":11819,"date":"2023-07-12T03:28:30","date_gmt":"2023-07-12T03:28:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/?p=11819"},"modified":"2023-07-12T03:28:32","modified_gmt":"2023-07-12T03:28:32","slug":"benn-advocates-for-building-police-community-trust","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/benn-advocates-for-building-police-community-trust\/","title":{"rendered":"Benn Advocates for Building Police-Community Trust"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n\n<p>In an effort to strengthen relationships between the Guyana Police Force (GPF) and the public, Minister of Home Affairs Robeson Benn highlighted the need for innovative approaches that promote peace and trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This statement came after a wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument for Fallen Heroes on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with the GPF, is working on a multifaceted strategy to enhance law and order in the country and as part of this plan, a new program is being developed to improve the relationship between police ranks and members of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"201\" height=\"251\" src=\"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Robeson-Benn.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11821\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Robeson-Benn.jpg 201w, https:\/\/ncnguyana.com\/2023\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Robeson-Benn-126x157.jpg 126w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 201px) 100vw, 201px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Minister of Home Affairs, <br>Hon.
