The introduction of the national pathway programme has had a positive impact on the small village of Falmouth in Region Ten, where it has significantly boosted the income of women, directly contributing to the economic sustainability of their families and the community.
Thirteen women in Falmouth are currently employed through the programme, benefiting from part-time work that supplements their household incomes.
Residents like Rohan Braithwaite, Elizabeth Braithwaite, and Lavern Joseph have expressed gratitude, noting how the programme has greatly helped improve their livelihoods since its inception.
The national pathway programme currently employs 1,734 people in Region Ten.
The government has committed to creating 50,000 jobs over a five-year period as part of an effort to strategically enhance the lives of citizens across the country.
