February 5, 2025

Cricket West Indies (CWI) has unveiled the schedule for the senior men’s and women’s cricket teams for 2025, with an exciting mix of home and away fixtures stretching from May to December.

The men’s team will kick off their campaign in May with a three-match ODI series against Ireland in Dublin from May 21-25.

This will be followed by another three-match ODI series against England from May 29 to June 3. England and Ireland will also host T20I matches against the Windies later in the UK tour.

The men’s team will then move to Test cricket, starting with a three-match series for the Frank Worrell Trophy against Australia in Barbados from June 25-29, followed by a five-match T20I series against the Aussies from July 20-28.

The Windies will then host Pakistan for T20Is and ODIs in Florida and Trinidad, respectively, in July and August.

The men’s team will end the year with an overseas tour across India, Bangladesh, and New Zealand from September 21 to December 23.

CWI Director of Cricket Miles Bascombe expressed excitement about the upcoming fixtures, noting that the schedule will strengthen the regional side and expand the sport’s reach.

Meanwhile, the women’s team starts their 2025 campaign with the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in Pakistan from April 4-19, where they will compete for one of the two available spots in the prestigious World Cup set for August-September in India.

Following the qualifiers, the Windies women will tour England for a series of three T20Is and three ODIs from May 21 to June 8. Later in the year, they will host South Africa in a historic white-ball series in Barbados.

The full 2025 schedule promises thrilling international cricket across multiple formats for both the Windies men’s and women’s teams.
