Global Travel Tours Guyana has partnered with the United States Embassy and the American Chamber of Commerce to host an exciting cultural event, “What Happens in Miami,” aimed at introducing Guyanese to vibrant American and Latin American cultures.

The event will take place at the Promenade Gardens on Saturday, November 30.

The event, themed “American Eats, Beats, and Travel Treats,” promises a lively fusion of food, music, and travel opportunities.

Guests will be treated to a variety of American and Latin-inspired dishes, including fast food favorites, Brazilian and Cuban cuisine, and classic American beverages.

In addition, there will be music and dance performances to add to the festive atmosphere.

Waynewright Orderson, CEO of Global Travel Tours Guyana, highlighted the event’s goal of offering a slice of American and Latin culture to the Georgetown community, with a particular focus on enticing future travelers.

He noted that attendees will also have the chance to win a return ticket to any destination in the United States, courtesy of United Airlines.

The “What Happens in Miami” event will start at 4 PM on Saturday.

Tickets are available for $1,000, with free entry for children under 12, and can be purchased at Massey Supermarkets and at the gate.

Families are encouraged to arrive early to fully enjoy the festivities.

This event is expected to provide an immersive cultural experience while promoting travel opportunities for Guyanese looking to explore North America.
