In the second One Day International (ODI) between West Indies and England, the West Indies faced a defeat, losing by six wickets at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda.
This result levels the series at one apiece, setting the stage for a decisive third ODI.
Batting first, the West Indies struggled early in their innings, reaching 23 for 4 at one point.
However, half-centuries from team Captain Shai Hope (68) and Sherfane Rutherford (63) provided a credible recovery as the team was eventually bowled out for 202.
Romario Shepherd contributed 19 runs. England’s Sam Curran and Liam Livingston were the top wicket-takers, each grabbing three wickets.
Chasing a target of 203, England achieved the required runs in just 32.5 overs, reaching 206 for four.
Will Jacks top-scored with 73, Captain Jos Buttler remained unbeaten on 58, and Harry Brook added 43.
Gudakesh Motie took two wickets for the West Indies.
The series is now leveled, and the decisive match will take place on Saturday at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
The winner of the third ODI will claim victory in the three-match limited-overs international series.
