West Central Mall in Region Three Set to Revolutionize Shopping and Entertainment Experience

The “West Central Mall,” an avant-garde shopping and entertainment complex in Region Three, located in Leonora, is poised for its grand opening on September 30th. This groundbreaking development is a significant milestone for the region, offering a contemporary shopping and entertainment hub, sparing residents the need to travel beyond their locality.

Sandra Bipta, General Manager of West Central Mall, expressed her excitement about this venture, stating that residents of the west side will now have access to a state-of-the-art shopping and entertainment facility right in their own region. In addition to featuring renowned stores and brands, the mall will introduce a host of new stores and services.

Bipta highlighted the mall’s unique features, including a conference facility that caters to board meetings and conferences. This facility is set to play a pivotal role in accommodating the growing economic activities, especially with the burgeoning oil sector in the region.

Furthermore, the mall boasts a range of distinctive businesses, such as Keos, a one-of-a-kind establishment, a pet store, a book store, a candy shop, and even a plant store, ensuring a diverse shopping experience for visitors.

Apart from enhancing the retail landscape, West Central Mall is set to be a catalyst for employment in Region Three. With its central location between Vreed en Hoop and Parika, the mall is expected to provide direct employment for approximately 350 individuals, along with additional indirect employment opportunities for suppliers and support services.

As the grand opening on September 30th approaches, several businesses and attractions within the mall will have their own individual openings, providing a sneak peek into the offerings that await eager shoppers and entertainment seekers.

West Central Mall is poised to redefine the shopping and entertainment experience in Region Three, contributing significantly to the economic development of the region and the country as a whole.
