Vurlon Mills Academy Targets Football Development in Interior Regions

By Eric Collymore

The Vurlon Mills Academy is working on a program aimed at enhancing football development in interior regions of Guyana.

Recognizing the need for more support for young players in these underserved areas, the academy’s founder recently shared plans to launch the initiative by the end of the year.

The academy, which saw its U12 boys’ team participate in a successful invitational tournament in Trinidad and Tobago, hopes to expand its outreach through this program.

The initiative is set to be one of the academy’s major projects, focusing not only on football skills development but also on making a lasting impact in the community.

The former national footballer emphasized the academy’s commitment to providing young athletes with the best opportunities to develop their talents, both on and off the field.
