Victory Valley Community Center to be Rebuilt: Commitment from Ministers during Cabinet Outreach

During a recent cabinet outreach in Region 10, Ministers Joseph Hamilton and Susan Rodrigues made a significant commitment to the residents of Victory Valley.

The duo pledged to rebuild the Victory Valley Community Centre, which was tragically destroyed by fire in March 2019.

Minister Hamilton, responsible for the Labour portfolio, emphasized the government’s dedication to engaging with every citizen of Guyana.

He expressed confidence that the reconstruction of the community center will have a positive impact on the lives of Victory Valley residents.

Minister Rodrigues, overseeing the Ministry of Housing and Water, echoed this sentiment, assuring residents that addressing their concerns is a top priority for the government.

She acknowledged the various issues raised by the community, including the need for youth training programs, proper documentation for land ownership, creek dredging, and additional footpaths.

In response to these challenges, both Ministers committed to swift resolutions, underlining their commitment to the well-being of Victory Valley and its residents.

Local residents expressed their gratitude for the government’s support and praised the outreach efforts.

They lauded the progress made and looked forward to witnessing further improvements in the community.

A similar outreach initiative was conducted in Amelia’s Ward at the Linden Foundation Secondary School, demonstrating the government’s ongoing commitment to engaging with citizens and addressing their needs.
