UNITY Gym/Yuso Fit’s Jublani Denhart Clinches Mr. Guyana Novice Title

In a display of dedication and prowess, Jublani Denhart of UNITY Gym/Yuso Fit emerged victorious at the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation’s National Novices Championship, held on Saturday.

Antowyn Bayley of KB Fitness Gym claimed the Mr. Physique title, while Savita Stephenson of Space Gym secured the Miss Bikini crown.

Grayson Ford-Lambert of Upper Demerara Barbell Club Gym clinched the Mr. Linden title, adding to the night’s excitement.

The championship, hosted at the Linden Concert Hall and School (LICHAS), garnered enthusiastic support from spectators, highlighting the growing interest in bodybuilding and fitness in Guyana.

Videsh Sookram, the Organizing Secretary of the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, commended the turnout and enthusiasm of the audience.

Jublani Denhart’s stellar performance earned him the coveted title of Mr. Guyana Novice champion, with Sweet Sagar securing second place and Shemar Burrowes claiming third.

Notably, the competition featured thirteen athletes, including two women, demonstrating the increasing inclusivity of the sport.

In the closely contested Men’s Physique championship, Antowyn Bayley emerged as the winner, edging out competitors with his impressive physique.

Other notable winners included Orlanzo Valenzuela, Shamar Burrowes, Triston Williams, and Sweet Sagar, who excelled in their respective categories.

The panel of judges, comprising esteemed figures from the fitness community such as Dawn McCammon-Barker and Frank Tucker, ensured fairness and integrity throughout the event.

Special guest appearances by past champions added to the excitement of the evening, highlighting the camaraderie and tradition within the bodybuilding community.

The success of the National Novices Championship underscores the dedication and talent of Guyana’s bodybuilding and fitness enthusiasts, setting the stage for continued growth and excellence in the sport.
