Tucville Primary Celebrates Outstanding National Grade Six Assessment Results

Tucville Primary School is abuzz with celebrations following the announcement of exceptional results in the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA).

Several students from the school have achieved placements in the country’s top one percent, marking a significant achievement for both students and educators alike.

Students and teachers at Tucville Primary expressed jubilation as they gathered to celebrate the outstanding performances.

Breanna Duke, who secured a place at North Ruimveldt Multilateral, shared her initial nervousness and relief upon receiving her results, emphasizing the support she received from her school community.

Another successful student, Teflon Martin, credited his success to the collaborative effort of friends, relatives, and teachers, securing a place at Annadale Secondary School.

Among the top achievers is Amariah Rodrigues, who will attend Queen’s College, expressing gratitude to her teacher for guidance and support throughout her preparation.

Similarly, Amari Griffith, who will join St. Rose’s High School, highlighted the crucial role played by both teachers and parents in her success.

Teachers at Tucville Primary also spoke highly of the Ministry of Education’s support, acknowledging interventions such as textbook provisions and grants that helped enhance classroom environments.

Headteacher Eletha Saunders praised the ministry for its assistance in providing resources that contributed to their students’ achievements.

Grade 6 teacher Malika Cossou emphasized the importance of individualized attention and experimental learning in the classroom, which significantly benefited their students.

Malika Azore, another Grade 6 teacher, highlighted the seamless transition from Grade 5 to Grade 6 facilitated by the Ministry of Education’s curriculum support.
