Tropical Shipping Drag Wars 2 Set to Thrill at South Dakota Circuit

The excitement is building for the highly anticipated Tropical Shipping Drag Wars 2, set to take place on Sunday, July 30th, at the resurfaced South Dakota Circuit.

With 25 cars blazing the circuit adding flair with serious horsepower, the event promises to be a high-octane competition.

Sponsored by Tropical Shipping, Drag Wars 2 will feature a thrilling showdown between the racers from Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago, along with the local drivers of Guyana.

The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club’s Executive, Luis Kumar, announced that the race cars will participate in the elimination round on Saturday, leading up to the main event on Sunday.

Kumar emphasized that the competition will showcase power, precision, and speed, as the Guyanese drivers seek to defend their home turf against their talented neighbors.

Team Mohammed and Team Daby will lead the charge, with their monster machines lining up at the starting line to push the boundaries of speed.

The event will feature cash prizes for drivers in the 11-16 second category, with $100,000 sponsored by Trans-Pacific Motors Spares & Auto Sales Inc. and Secure Innovations & Concepts Inc. up for grabs.

Excitement is brewing among motorsports enthusiasts, and tickets for the event are priced at $3000 for adults and $1000 for kids, providing an accessible and thrilling experience for racing fans of all ages.
