A somber atmosphere envelops the community of Williamsburg as news of a fatal accident on the Williamsburg Public Road spreads.

Late last evening, tragedy struck as two motorcycle riders lost their lives, while another remains in critical condition following a devastating accident.

The deceased have been identified as 21-year-old Vekash Tulsi of Letter Kenny Village and 22-year-old Rondy Emanuel of Williamsburg.

Seventeen-year-old Veeram Seecharran, also of Williamsburg, who was a pillion rider, suffered a fractured skull and is currently hospitalized in critical condition at the New Amsterdam Regional Hospital.

According to reports, the accident occurred around 8:30 PM when Tulsi and Emanuel, both riding motorcycles, were involved in a collision.

Preliminary investigations suggest that both riders were allegedly speeding when Emanuel lost control of his bike, resulting in the tragic collision.

Speaking to the media, Rudolph Emanuel, the father of one of the deceased, expressed shock and sorrow over the incident.

He recounted the moments leading up to the accident, highlighting the suddenness and severity of the collision that claimed the lives of both riders.

Following the accident, emergency services rushed to the scene, and the victims were transported to the Port Mourant Public Hospital.

Tragically, Tulsi was pronounced dead on arrival, while Emanuel succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical attention.

As the community mourns the loss of two young lives and prays for the recovery of Veeram Seecharran, investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are ongoing.

This heartbreaking incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of road safety and responsible driving practices.

It underscores the need for heightened awareness and vigilance on the roads to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.
