Team Guyana Excels at CAREBACO Championships

Team Guyana delivered an impressive performance at the recently held CAREBACO Championships, which featured 153 athletes from various countries competing in 204 games over four days of intense badminton action.

The young and talented players from Guyana showcased their skills and determination amidst strong competition.

The team garnered several medals, underscoring their exceptional abilities on the court.

Anjaneysa Goddette and Riyo Alexander secured bronze medals in the Under-11 Girls Doubles division.

In the boys’ Under-13 category, Ethan Bulkan also earned a bronze medal, reflecting his remarkable talent and perseverance.

Additionally, Leshaunte Berkley and Gabrielle Felix won bronze in the Girls Doubles Under-19 event.

Miskha Beharry demonstrated her strength in the Girls Under-17 division, also taking home a bronze medal.

In the Boys Under-19 Doubles, Xavio Alexander and Frank Waddell achieved bronze, displaying excellent strategy and teamwork.

Overall, Team Guyana earned two individual gold medals and three team medals, culminating in eight notable achievements at the CAREBACO Championships.
