The Surabhi Group is all set to host its much-anticipated Diwali Mela tomorrow, a charitable and eco-friendly event that promises to be a vibrant celebration of culture and tradition.

In collaboration with the Indian High Commissioner and the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, the event will bring together communities to celebrate the spirit of Diwali.

Dr. Asha Purohit, one of the event organizers, shared details of the upcoming festivities, which will feature a range of activities designed to highlight the true spirit of Diwali.

There will be homemade Indian delicacies, many of which are being contributed by the women of the Surabhi group, as well as crafts.

Most of the proceeds from the crafts will be donated to charity.

Dr. Purohit emphasized the significance of Diwali, which symbolizes the spiritual triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

She encourages everyone to embrace the spirit of Diwali by spreading joy, kindness, and understanding.

The event, which starts at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, will include a rangoli competition, Diya painting, traditional dances, and other cultural activities.

Diwali itself will be celebrated on Thursday, October 31st, 2024.
