Success of Pastel Explosion 2024 Highlights Local Small Businesses in Guyana

Pastel Explosion 2024, an event held over the weekend in Georgetown Bus Park, Linden, has been declared a success by coordinator Ziningi Ngqondo.

The primary goal of the event was to spotlight local small businesses and provide a networking platform for their success.

The event, now in its third year, featured more than thirty local businesses showcasing and marketing their products.

Ngqondo, the proprietor of Only U Variety store in Linden, emphasized the importance of supporting small businesses and commended the participants for their efforts.

Despite facing challenges, including issues with the venue, the event successfully brought together a diverse range of businesses, including online-based enterprises.

Businesses from Linden and its outskirts, such as Pure Beauty Gift shop, The Kristel Kave, Collieblack Hairstyles, Ostentatious Beauty Place, Boys to Men clothing, and more, seized the opportunity to showcase their products and services.

Kadifa Greene-Marshall, the owner of Elite Designs, praised Pastel Explosion for providing an excellent platform to promote small businesses.

Ngqondo expressed her plans to continue organizing such events, aiming to provide an even bigger platform to promote and support more than 50 businesses in the future.

The success of Pastel Explosion 2024 reflects the importance of community events in fostering local business growth and creating networking opportunities for entrepreneurs in Guyana.
