Sterling Products Limited has reaffirmed its partnership with the Petra Organization for the eleventh edition of the Courts Optical Pee Wee Under-11 Football Tournament.
The tournament will commence on Saturday, September 21, at the Ministry of Education ground on Carifesta Avenue.
The company’s commitment was highlighted by Marketing Manager Dellon Lynch, who expressed pride in Sterling’s continued involvement and promised ongoing support for the event.
Sterling Products Public Relations Officer Youlandra McCammon also emphasized the importance of these sponsorships, noting the company’s dedication to contributing to the holistic development of students through such initiatives.
Troy Mendonca, Co-founder of the Petra Organization, discussed the significant impact the tournament has had in identifying young talent, many of whom have progressed to higher levels, including senior national teams.
He acknowledged Sterling’s support as crucial in nurturing the growth of football among young players.
The tournament will kick off with 16 matches on Saturday, starting at 10:00 AM. St. Pius Primary, the defending champions, will aim to retain their title after defeating Redeemer Primary in last year’s competition.
