Starbucks, the renowned American coffee company operating under Prestige Holdings Guyana, has inaugurated its newest store at MovieTowne Mall in Georgetown, marking its second location in the country within just one year.
Store Manager Daniel Roberts expressed excitement over the successful opening, noting a significant turnout of eager customers on the first day.
The new store offers various conveniences, including a drive-thru, a walk-up window, and a well-appointed café, providing customers with a unique experience.
One notable feature of the new Starbucks location is the incorporation of artwork by local artist Courtney Douglas, showcasing the beauty of Guyanese flora and fauna.
Roberts emphasized the significance of this integration, highlighting the representation of Guyana’s rich cultural and natural heritage.
Situated along the Rupert Craig Highway in Georgetown, the MovieTowne Mall Starbucks store operates daily from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM, catering to coffee enthusiasts and patrons seeking a premium café experience.
Starbucks initially entered the Guyanese market in 2023 with its first location at Amazonia Mall, and the opening of the MovieTowne store signifies the company’s commitment to expanding its presence and serving customers across the country.
