…$500K Up For Grabs
After a three-year hiatus, the Stage of Champions Bodybuilding Show will be hosted at the Ramada Princess Hotel and Casino on Sunday, July 9, and a whopping half a million dollars will be up for grabs by whoever is deemed the overall Bodybuilding Winner.
This third edition of the famed bodybuilding contest- ‘Stage of Champions’- is set to see several countries participating, including Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Antigua and Barbuda, Jamaica, St. Marteen, Grenada, and Guyana.
The Organizer of the event, Videsh Sookram has indicated that the prizes this year are some of the most lucrative since some of the Caribbean’s best bodybuilders will be featured in the competition.
He explained that while the first-place winner will walk away with $500,000, the second-place winner will receive $250,000 and the third place will collect $150,000.
Moreover, $300,000 is expected to go toward the Top Bikini contestant and Men’s Physique contestant with $200,000 for second place, and $100,000 for the third-place winner.
The participating bodybuilders will compete in middleweight, lightweight and heavyweight divisions.
Admission for the event is $3000 and tickets are available at several locations around the city, including the Executive of the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.
