Stabroek Eagles and Kitty Campbellville Ravens Secure Spots in One Guyana Basketball League Finals

In a thrilling showdown at the National Gymnasium, the Stabroek Eagles and Kitty Campbellville Ravens emerged victorious in their respective leagues, setting the stage for an electrifying final clash in the One Guyana Basketball League.

Led by Captain Travis Belgrave, the Stabroek Eagles maintained their unbeaten streak as they battled past the Colts in a closely contested match.

Belgrave’s stellar performance, contributing 25 points, propelled the Eagles to a hard-fought 74-71 victory, securing their spot in the league finals.

Expressing his satisfaction with the team’s performance, Eagles Coach Adrian Hooper commended their resilience and determination.

On the opposing side, Colts Coach Willon Cameron expressed disappointment over his team’s loss but acknowledged the Eagles’ deserving victory.

Despite the defeat, Cameron praised the Eagles for their hard work and wished them success in the upcoming tournament finals.

In another conference final, the Kitty Campbellville Ravens emerged triumphant over the Kwakwani Untouchables with a score of 74-69, clinching the series 2-1.

The highly anticipated final matchup will feature the Stabroek Eagles representing the Jaguar Conference and the Kitty Campbellville Ravens from the Harpy Eagles Conference.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport, as well as G-boot Guyana, the One Guyana Basketball League continues to showcase the talents of Guyanese athletes and promote the sport’s growth across the nation.

With excitement building for the impending showdown, basketball enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the crowning of the league champion in what promises to be a thrilling finale.
