A Record Chance Inc. has officially launched the second edition of its Sprint Camp, a key program aimed at unlocking the full potential of young athletes.

This year’s camp is set to take place on Saturday at Banks DIH Thirst Park and is open to the public.

With over 120 junior athletes signed up and 30 coaches in attendance, the camp promises to be an enriching experience for all participants.

The program not only focuses on technical training but also offers a holistic approach to athlete development, addressing the mental, emotional, and physical aspects necessary for success in sports.

Carlwyn Collins, Marketing Manager of A Record Chance, stressed the significance of the camp for aspiring athletes.

“One of our primary goals is to provide these athletes with the necessary tools to succeed and to promote the culture of athletics in Guyana,” Collins said.

National Indoor 400-meter record holder and founder of A Record Chance Inc., Arinze Chance, highlighted the broader vision of the organization.

While the camp’s focus is currently on track and field, plans are in place to expand into other sports by 2026.

In addition to the athletic training, the Sprint Camp will feature novelty events to engage the public and raise awareness about the importance of athletics in Guyana.
