South Amelia’s Ward CDC Prepares for Second Market Day to Boost Local Businesses

The South Amelia’s Ward Community Development Council (CDC) is gearing up for its second market day, scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 16, in Obama Drive.

The Christmas-themed market day, requested by residents, is aimed at promoting small businesses within the area.

Kenisha Dey-Venture, Chairman of the South Amelia’s Ward CDC, expressed the community’s enthusiasm for the event.

“This market day was asked for by the residents.

They asked that we do a market day. We had one earlier in the year, and it was successful,” said Kenisha Dey-Venture.

The market day provides a platform for local small business owners to showcase and sell their products and services.

Dey-Venture outlined the goals of the event, stating, “What we are hoping to achieve is to give persons the opportunity to showcase their products and services within the South Amelia’s Ward area.”

The CDC encourages the Linden community to actively support the small businesses participating in the market day.

The event is set to kick off at 7:00 am and will not only feature a market but also a fun day for kids.

As the South Amelia’s Ward CDC works to foster economic development and community engagement, the market day serves as a valuable initiative to boost local businesses and provide residents with a festive and enjoyable experience.

For further details and to support local entrepreneurs, the Linden community is invited to attend the market day on December 16.
