Sky High Dominicana Launches Service Between Guyana and Dominican Republic

Sky High Dominicana made its inaugural landing at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, signaling the commencement of its service between the Dominican Republic and Port Georgetown.

The airline will operate three flights weekly, providing convenient and affordable travel options for passengers.

During a welcome ceremony at the airport, Victor Nina, the Commercial Manager of Sky High Aviation, expressed gratitude to President Irfaan Ali for his vision in improving connectivity between the two nations.

He emphasized the significance of the new service in strengthening cultural ties and fostering closer relations between Guyana and the Dominican Republic.

Ambassador Ernesto Torres-Pereyra of the Dominican Republic to Guyana hailed the development as a game-changer, highlighting its potential to facilitate cultural exchange and stimulate economic growth.

He emphasized that the direct flight opens up opportunities for citizens from around the world to engage with Guyanese citizens and explore various sectors of Guyana’s economy.

Sky High Dominicana aims to enhance connectivity between the two nations, boosting tourism, trade, and investment opportunities.

The airline’s schedule includes flights on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, offering passengers greater flexibility in travel arrangements.
