Silver Bullets Clinch Linden Edition of Guinness Greatest of the Streets

Silver Bullets emerged victorious as the champions of the 2024 Guinness Greatest of the Streets Linden Edition, showcasing their dominance with a resounding 5-0 victory over Hardball Management in front of an enthusiastic crowd at the Retrieve Hard Court.

The victory not only secured Silver Bullets’ place in the National Guinness Greatest of the Streets tournament later this year but also earned them the prestigious Champion Trophy along with a cash prize of $500,000.

Colwyn Drakes set the tone for Silver Bullets with an early goal in the sixth minute, followed by strikes from Damion Williams and Amanakee Buntin in the 8th and 17th minutes, respectively.

Drakes sealed the win with a Guinness Goal in the 28th minute, which counted as two goals, bringing his total to three goals for the match.

Despite their valiant efforts, Hardball Management had to settle for the runner-up position and a prize of $400,000.

In the third-place play-off, Turf President displayed remarkable skill to secure a convincing 4-0 victory over the Spaniards, earning them a prize of $300,000.

Anthony Layne, Kelroy Anthony, Malaki Todd, and Floyd Headley each contributed a goal for Turf President.

The Spaniards, meanwhile, finished in fourth place and received a prize of $250,000 for their efforts.

With their impressive performance, Silver Bullets have not only claimed victory in the Linden leg of the tournament but have also showcased their potential as contenders in the upcoming national tournament.
