As the fourth annual KFC Goodwill football series reaches its semi-final stage, the Ministry of Education ground is set to witness thrilling and highly competitive matches this evening.

Troy Mendonca, Co-director of the Petra organization, shared his insights and expectations for the upcoming clashes.

Mendonca expressed satisfaction with the semi-final line-up, emphasizing that it reflects the competitive spirit of the tournament.

The semi-final matches include Jamaica’s Clarendon College facing Suriname’s VWO4, and local team Chase Academy taking on St. Trinidad and Tobago’s St. Benedict’s College.

Leading up to Tuesday evening’s clashes, the Petra organization received support from Trophy Stall, which presented the awards for the tournament winners.

The business entity’s continued support ensures the recognition of outstanding performances in the competition.

The stakes are high in the KFC Goodwill Football Series, with the tournament’s winner set to receive a prize of $500,000.

The second-place team will earn $300,000, while the third and fourth places will be awarded $200,000 and $100,000, respectively.

The final showdown of the KFC Goodwill Football Series promises to be a highlight, with participants eagerly vying for the prestigious title.
