Santa Rosa Primary School emerged as the new champions of the Courts Pee Wee Under-11 football tournament after a hard-fought victory over Marian Academy in the final this past weekend.

The match ended in a 0-0 draw after regulation time, with extra time required to determine the winner.

In the 62nd minute of extra time, Michael Harris scored the decisive goal, securing the win for Santa Rosa and earning them the title of the best Under-11 football team in the country for this year.

Head coach Earl Richards expressed his pride in the team’s performance, noting that despite their exhaustion, the players showed resilience throughout the match.

“It’s a good feeling for us,” Richards said. He also thanked the community for their unwavering support in helping the team achieve success.

In the third-place play-off, St. Pius Primary defeated St. John the Baptist 3-2.

Jovaine Wright led St. Pius with a brace, while Emanuel Forte also scored to seal the win.
