Santa Rosa and Chase Academy Maintain Unbeaten Records in Limacol Schools League

In the latest fixtures of the Limacol Secondary School football league, Santa Rosa and Chase Academy faced tough challenges but managed to keep their unbeaten records intact.

Chase Academy currently leads the standings after four rounds with a perfect record of four wins, accumulating 12 points. Bartica, Carmel, and Santa Rosa follow closely with 9 points each, securing three wins apiece.

Mackenzie holds the next position with 6 points, while Ann’s Grove has accumulated 3 points. Christianburg Wismar and East Ruimveldt find themselves at the bottom of the table after failing to secure a victory in the first four rounds.

In Monday’s matches, Ann’s Grove and McKenzie High couldn’t be separated, ending in a 1-1 draw after regulation time.

Darius Williams of Santa Rosa Secondary scored the decisive goal in the 49th minute to secure a 1-0 victory against Christianburg Wismar Secondary.

The feature clash of the day witnessed a closely contested match between Chase’s Academic Foundation and Carmel Secondary.

Brayan Wharton, the leading goal-scorer in the tournament, scored the only goal, maintaining Chase Academy’s unbeaten streak.

Despite a solid defense from Carmel’s lead scorer Ian Daniels, they were unable to convert chances, leaving them trailing with 5 goals from four matches.

East Ruimveldt Secondary, on the other hand, conceded a walkover victory to Bartica Secondary in their encounter.

Chase Academy remains the team to beat with a flawless record, while the competition heats up among the other schools in the Limacol Secondary School football league.
