Despite the inclement weather on Wednesday evening, the Republic Bank Mashramani Panorama Competition at the Kingston Seawall saw an enthusiastic crowd dancing to the rhythm of the competing steel bands.
In the youth category, the West Demerara Steel Orchestra claimed first place, while Berbice High School secured second place, and GBTI Buxton Pride Steel Orchestra finished third.
For the large band segment, the Kunjaz Steel Orchestra emerged victorious. Ansa McAl Parkside Steel Orchestra placed second, with The Guyana Police Force Steel Band taking third place.
The Republic Bank Mashramani Panorama Competition continues to be a highlight of Guyana’s Mashramani celebrations, bringing vibrant music and spirited competition to the festivities.
