The regional food festival continues to delight food enthusiasts, offering a vibrant atmosphere for culinary exploration.
NCN News recently engaged with two local businesses, Le Chef Catering and Aliya’s Hot and Tasty Doubles, both dedicated to delivering unique Caribbean and Asian dishes.
On the third day of the festival, Tiffany Moseley, a representative for Aliya’s Hot and Tasty Doubles, expressed her enthusiasm for Trinidadian cuisine.
She highlighted doubles as an adventurous culinary choice, noting that it garners varied opinions on its appeal but ultimately encourages repeat visits from first-time tasters.
Meanwhile, Dustin Dalgetty, the owner of Le Chef Catering and a seasoned Guyanese chef with over a decade of experience, shared his passion for Asian cuisine.
He encouraged festival-goers to expand their culinary horizons by trying sushi, which he describes as versatile and uniquely adaptable to local flavors.
Dalgetty has created innovative sushi options infused with ingredients like mango, avocado, and jerk chicken, catering to those hesitant to try sushi for the first time.
The regional food festival runs until midnight on Sunday, October 6, providing an excellent opportunity for attendees to sample an array of delightful dishes from local vendors.
