Region Ten Welcomes Pupils and Teachers for the New Academic Year

Linden, Region Ten, was abuzz today as scores of pupils and teachers returned to school, marking the start of the new academic year.

The excitement was palpable across all levels and communities as students and educators alike expressed their enthusiasm for a fresh start.

Teachers, rejuvenated from an eight-week vacation, were eager to return to the classroom.

Cordis Nestor, a teacher in training, shared that while she understood the reasons behind the recent strike, she was thrilled to be back at work and ready to continue teaching.

Students were equally excited, with many expressing their hopes for the new school year.

One student shared how proud they felt to have moved up to Form Four after passing their exams, while others expressed their eagerness to learn and progress academically.

Acting Regional Education Officer, La Shanna Anderson, also welcomed back the teachers and students, extending her gratitude to the educators for their dedication in preparing classrooms and ensuring the efficient delivery of the curriculum.

As the new academic year unfolds, Region Ten is filled with high anticipation and a collective commitment to academic success.
