Region 10 Unites in National Circle of Unity

In a demonstration of unity and strength, communities across Region 10 are set to join the rest of Guyana on Sunday, December 3, forming human chains to reaffirm the nation’s unwavering position on sovereignty and territorial integrity.

District Development Officer, Sancha Halley, highlighted the event’s purpose to showcase Guyana’s strength and unity.

She reiterated the call for Lindeners to gather at various assembly points at 6:30 am on Sunday, wearing national colors and demonstrating their commitment to Guyana.

Leading up to the event, schools, the Muslim community, and government organizations across the region engaged in various activities on Friday to express patriotism and solidarity with the rest of the country.

Additionally, on Saturday, Seventh-day Adventist Churches in Linden will host similar activities.

The National Circle of Unity aims to serve as a symbolic representation of the nation’s collective commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty.
