The Regional Democratic Council (RDC) of Region 10 is actively engaged in the repair and maintenance of schools across the region, ensuring that they are ready for the upcoming academic year.

According to the Regional Executive Officer, the Ministry of Education has invested millions of dollars into the maintenance of nursery, primary, and secondary schools.

In addition to regular repairs, new nursery schools are being constructed in Rockstone and Mabura Road, with projects valued at $52.1 million and $37.6 million respectively.

The RDC is also working on repairing teacher accommodations, school dormitories, and docking facilities.

The efforts aim to enhance the educational environment across Region 10, with all work expected to be completed before school reopens.
