On Saturday, defending champions North Ruimveldt Ravens asserted their dominance in local basketball, defeating the Mambas 75-50.
Attila Williamson led the charge with 14 points, making a significant impact in the game.
The second game of the night saw the Stabroek Eagles edge out the University of Guyana Trojans with an 82-70 win.
Zion Gray was the standout player, contributing 21 points to secure the victory for the Eagles.
Sunday’s action was equally thrilling, as the Worthmanville Pacesetters handed the D-UP Rising Stars a 77-43 defeat, continuing the Rising Stars’ losing streak.
The final game of the weekend saw a nail-biting finish, with the Bounty Colts narrowly defeating the Meadowbrook Nets 80-77 in a thrilling contest.
The GBF One Guyana League will continue every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at the National Gymnasium, promising more exciting basketball action in the weeks ahead.
