Queen’s College, the country’s premier educational institution, has inaugurated its week-long celebration marking its 180th anniversary.

The event aims to honor the school’s rich legacy in academia and beyond.

President of the Queen’s College Old School Association (QCOSA), Pauline Chase, highlighted the collaborative effort of the alumni body in designing a series of activities that pay homage to the school’s heritage.

The festivities, scheduled from October 20th to 26th this year, will kick off with a tribute to the founder of Queen’s College.

The celebration will culminate in a grand gala at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday, featuring elements for which Queen’s College is renowned.

Chase expressed the enthusiasm of both alumni and staff in welcoming former and current students to this milestone event.

The celebration aims to acknowledge the school’s past, evaluate its present standing, and contemplate its future trajectory.

Under the theme “Celebrating 180 years of rich history, sustaining excellence,” the event seeks to bring together alumni and friends of the college to commemorate the institution’s significant contributions.

Registration for the anniversary week’s events is open and accessible through the school’s website.

The launch event took place at Herdmanston Lodge.
